If you're looking for a place to learn about various destinations, then you've come to the right place.  It's not uncommon for friends and family to seek out someone who's become an expert on places they're looking to travel.  Experts love talking about their favorite vacation destinations and it often makes them wish they could go back soon.  Eventually, long conversations turn into lengthy emails which would be passed onto others.  We knew there must be a better way to tell everyone about our travel experiences in one place.  That's how Travel Wicks started.  We started Travel Wicks to share our travel experiences with family, friends, and the world.

Our goal is not to cover every destination throughout the world, even though we'd love to travel the world.  Our goal is to share our experiences on places we've been and provide helpful tips to destinations you're not familiar with or maybe visited a few times.  Of course everyone's different, so we can't guarantee you'll like what we liked.  We'll give you information to make a better informed decision before making your final reservations.  We're not travel agents, so we're not swayed to promote one destination over another.

You may notice that we have many contributors who love traveling to Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in California.  Rest assured that we also love traveling and writing about other destinations as well.  Our intention is not to become a Disney Fan site as there are enough of those out there already.

It's important to note that Travel Wicks is constantly evolving, so check back often as new content is added.  We also plan on offering travel related products at a later date.
