How to Reset a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
I never thought I'd be the kind of person who wears a smartwatch. But ever since I got my Galaxy Watch4, I've been hooked. It's been especially useful during travel. I can't tell you how many times I've glanced at my wrist to check the time, only to be reminded that I'm in a different time zone and need to adjust my schedule accordingly. It's my go-to for keeping track of time, weather, and directions when I'm traveling. The watch also comes in handy for keeping track of my steps and monitoring my heart rate, which is especially important when I'm jet-lagged and trying to stay healthy on the road. Plus, it's just really fun to customize the watch face and show off my style wherever I go. Who knew a smartwatch could be so handy? I never leave home without my trusty Samsung Galaxy Watch4.
Steps to Reset your Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
However, it can be a real pain when it locks up and becomes unresponsive. When that happens, all of my carefully-laid plans go out the window.
To reset the watch, you have to hold down the two buttons on the right side of the watch for 10 seconds. Around 10 seconds, the screen will go black and you can stop holding down the two buttons. That's a long time to wait when you're in a hurry!
The screen should go black for a second and hopefully you'll see "Starting ..." displayed on the watch. This indicates that your Samsung watch is rebooting.
Once it resets, you should see your normal watch face displayed and you're back to business as usual!
The above instructions have worked for me most times I've woken up and noticed my Samsung Galaxy Watch4 was locked up. If holding the two buttons did not reset your watch, then you'll need to contact Samsung Technical Support for assistance. There maybe something else going on that a simple reset won't solve.
Hopefully, your Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 reset with these simple steps and you can now go about your adventure!
Safe Travels!
